Mission
India Heritage Museum (IHM) was formed in 2019 as a DBA of the Hindu Heritage Summer Camp, Inc. Our primary objective is educational, to create awareness in the Rochester community of the art, culture, traditions, diversity, and technological advances of India and to highlight the accomplishments of the Indo-American community of Rochester.
Vision
Create an environment where communities can contribute and participate to encourage understanding and admiration of their heritage through various platforms.
Goals
Our goals are to:
- Organize periodic events to increase appreciation and awareness
- Collect and present information regarding various cultural artifacts using reliable and relevant information sources.
- Develop new and innovative means to reach out to people and encourage the preservation of our heritage
